Out-Patient Therapy Treatment
Triad’s Outpatient Therapy department provides intensive clinical therapeutic services to children adolescents, and adults with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis. Triad provides out-patient therapy services. Our team of 15 therapists comprised of psychologists, social workers and licensed professional counselors treat a diverse area of presenting problems.
Types of Therapies Offered: Career Counseling, Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Couples/Marriage Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy.
Outpatient therapy includes psycho- educational activities/interventions designed to assist the client of the reduction of dysfunction. Services are provided with client-centered and family-centered approaches and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal specific interventions.
Psychiatry is the branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. Dr. Ellen Johnson is Triad’s on site psychiatrist. Dr. Johnson is a Doctor of Psychiatry, Michigan State University.
Dr. Johnson conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations and medication reviews for Triad patients. Dr. Johnson treats children, adolescents and adults in her practice at Triad. It is Triad’s policy that Dr. Johnson’s patients are in out-patient therapy treatment at Triad.
